Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Shannon Park and I am the Newspaper Advisor for Mustang Newspaper and MHS/MSHS Yearbook. This is my seventh year with Manor ISD and I am extremely passionate about GRAPHIC DESIGN and giving back to the students... For two years in a row, my students have successfully designed a National Award winning yearbook for Cover Design, Page Layout, Theme, and Photography.

BIO: My career as a graphic designer began after I attended the Art Institute of Houston and received a diploma in Layout and Production Art, graduating with honors. I later attended Texas State University and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts and Communications. I graduated in the top 3% of my class, Summa Cum Laude and inducted into the Council of Scholars.

My professional background includes 20 years as a graphic designer working in advertising, publishing, and newspaper. I served on the Board of Directors for AIGA | American Institute of Graphic Artist, the association for professional designers, 6.5 years.
